IPS KalyxX: Non-Chemical Scale Protection
Last updated:
Full guide to the IPS KalyxX product line — Active, BlueLine, RedLine, GreenLine, Industry, and WashBall. Chemical-free scale prevention with up to 90% certified effectiveness.
Hard water scale costs industry and households billions annually — in energy waste, equipment failure, and maintenance. IPS KalyxX (Ion Polarization System) eliminates this problem without chemicals, salt, or electricity, using patented TGP (Turbulent Galvanic Polarization) technology.
WorldwideTradeX is the authorized B2B distributor for the full KalyxX product line, supplying hotels, industrial facilities, agricultural operations, and residential projects globally. Send the pipe diameter, the hardness of your water and the installation point and we will quote the unit that fits: request a quote.
How TGP Technology Works
The core of every KalyxX device is a set of precision electrode discs that create a 4–6V galvanic field inside the water flow. As water passes through:
- Turbulent vortex motion is induced
- The galvanic field alters the crystal structure of calcium carbonate
- Hard calcite crystals convert to soft aragonite
- Aragonite does not adhere to pipe walls — it passes through and is flushed out

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between KalyxX Active and KalyxX Industry?
Both achieve up to 90% scale reduction using TGP technology. KalyxX Active is designed for residential and light commercial use (1/2" to 2" pipes). KalyxX Industry is engineered for high-flow industrial systems with larger pipe diameters and continuous heavy-duty operation in factories, hotels, and commercial buildings.Does KalyxX remove existing scale from pipes?
Yes. After installation, the treated water gradually dissolves existing calcium deposits. The process typically takes 4–8 weeks for light scale and 3–6 months for heavy buildup, depending on water flow rate and scale thickness. Is KalyxX certified for drinking water?
Yes. KalyxX BlueLine and Active hold NRL (National Sanitation Foundation equivalent) and DVGW (German water technology standard) certifications. They do not add any substances to the water and are safe for all potable water applications. What pipe materials is KalyxX compatible with?
All pipe materials: copper, galvanized steel, stainless steel, PVC, PEX, and PE. It works with all water hardness levels and is particularly effective above 200 mg/L (as CaCO3).How is KalyxX installed?
Installation takes 15–30 minutes. The device is inserted inline on the main water supply pipe using standard compression fittings. No tools beyond a wrench are required. No electrical connection needed.Request B2B Quote for KalyxX | Back to Water Treatment
