About the division

How the marble division works

Türkiye is one of the main natural stone producers: in 2025 marble made up 69.8% and travertine 19.5% of national natural-stone production, and processed products were 68.38% of natural-stone exports (Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, page updated 30 June 2026).

We work with partner producers rather than selling from one quarry. The division checks your specification against what each plant can make, then returns a single quote. The guides below explain varieties, standards, grades and documents, so you can write a specification that a factory can price.

FAQ

Questions about Turkish marble supply

Do you supply blocks, slabs, tiles or finished marble products?

All four formats. Blocks and slabs suit processors and fabricators, cut-to-size tiles suit contractors working from drawings, and finished pieces such as tables, sinks and stair sets arrive ready to install. Name the format in your brief, because price basis and packing differ for each.

Which Turkish marble varieties can I specify?

White and cream stones such as Afyon White and Sugar, beiges such as Ottoman Beige and Active Beige, greys and blacks such as Tundra Grey and Alexander Black, and coloured stones such as Elazığ Cherry and onyx. A name does not guarantee appearance, so approve a sample from the batch.

Which standards does Turkish marble follow?

European standards are the usual reference: EN 1469 for cladding, EN 12058 for floors and stairs, EN 12057 for modular tiles, EN 1936 and EN 13755 for density and absorption. ASTM C503 is used on US projects. The values come from the producer's datasheet for your stone.

How much does Turkish marble cost?

There is no single price per square metre. Variety, grade, thickness, finish, format, packing, Incoterm and order size all move the price, so quotes are only comparable when those are held constant. Send the specification and we quote on that basis.

What do you need from me to quote?

The product and acceptable alternatives, format and thickness, finish, quantity, destination port, target date and any standard or inspection requirement. Add site limits such as maximum piece weight or access, and attach drawings if you have them.

How is marble packed for export?

Slabs travel on A-frames or in bundled crates with separators, tiles in cartons on pallets with corner protection, and finished pieces in foam-lined plywood crates labelled to match the assembly drawing. Wood packaging should comply with ISPM 15.

Which documents come with a marble shipment?

A commercial invoice, packing list, transport document, proof of origin and the relevant test reports. Customs classification depends on the stone: HS 2515 for rough or squared blocks and slabs, HS 6802 for worked stone.

Can colour be kept consistent across a large order?

Yes, by tying the order to one block or a small set of blocks and agreeing a shade tolerance in the contract. Bookmatching for feature walls is planned from slab pairs before cutting starts.
