Care & Maintenance

Marble is a living stone that requires simple, consistent care. Seal marble tables annually with a penetrating impregnating sealer. Clean with pH-neutral stone soap and a soft microfibre cloth. Use coasters under glasses, placemats under plates, and felt pads under decorative objects to prevent etching from acidic liquids. Wipe spills immediately — especially wine, citrus, and vinegar. For stubborn stains, use a marble poultice paste.

Design Options

Bases can be made to order in any RAL colour for metal finishes or any wood species for timber bases. The marble top can be set flush into the base or overhanging. We offer CNC engraving for bespoke logos or patterns on table surfaces.

FAQ

What thickness is best for a dining table?
20 mm with a 30 mm bullnose edge for a balanced look, or solid 30–40 mm for a thick, monolithic appearance. Thicker tops feel more substantial but add significant weight.

Can marble tables be used outdoors?
Not recommended – marble is porous and sensitive to weather and freeze-thaw cycles. Treated granite, quartzite, or travertine with a flamed finish is a better option for exterior use.

How do I clean a marble table?
Use a soft damp cloth with a few drops of pH-neutral stone cleaner. Dry immediately. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia, or abrasive scouring pads.

Are custom shapes and sizes available?
Yes. We CNC-cut slabs to any dimension, including curved, oval, hexagonal, and irregular organic shapes. Edge profiles, base attachments, and cutouts are all made to order.

How long does production take?
Standard tables: 15–25 working days. Custom designs with exotic stone: 20–40 working days depending on complexity.
