Marble Sinks – Organic Luxury in the Bathroom

Marble sinks bring natural beauty and sculptural presence to the bathroom. Each basin is carved from a solid block or fabricated from slab material, finished with a smooth, non-porous interior and precision-drilled drain opening. The unique veining of each piece ensures no two marble sinks are identical.

Unlike mass-produced ceramic or porcelain basins, marble sinks are individually crafted. The material naturally feels warm to the touch and develops a subtle patina over time. Whether you choose a minimalist vessel bowl or an integrated countertop basin, marble elevates the everyday ritual of handwashing into a sensory experience.

Fabrication Details

Each sink is CNC-carved or hand-shaped, then progressively polished to a smooth finish. The drain hole is precision-positioned and drilled. The entire piece receives multiple coats of deep-penetrating impregnating sealer — inside and out — to minimise water absorption. We supply each sink with a matching waste fitting and overflow if specified.

FAQ

Are marble sinks porous and difficult to keep clean?
Marble is naturally porous, but our sinks receive multiple applications of professional-grade impregnating sealer. The interior is polished to a smooth, non-stick surface. With annual resealing, a marble sink is as hygienic as any other natural stone basin.

Can a marble sink crack or chip?
With proper installation and normal use, a 15–25 mm thick marble basin is durable. However, marble is a natural stone and can chip on sharp impact from dropped objects. Minor chips can be repaired with colour-matched epoxy.

How do I clean a marble sink?
Wipe with a soft sponge and pH-neutral cleaner after each use. Rinse thoroughly. Do not use bleach, drain cleaners containing acid, abrasive pads, or vinegar. For hard water stains, use a diluted isopropyl alcohol solution sparingly.

Do you supply matching soap dispensers and accessories?
Yes. We produce matching marble accessories — soap dispensers, toothbrush holders, tumbler cups, tissue box covers, and jewellery trays — from the same slab batch to ensure a coordinated bathroom set.

What is the lead time for a marble sink?
Vessel sinks: 12–18 working days. Integrated countertop sets: 18–30 working days. Custom sculptural pieces: 25–45 working days.

Can marble sinks be fitted with overflow?
Yes. We can drill overflow channels in most sink types. Specify overflow or non-overflow when ordering so we prepare the correct drain fitting and drilling.

Do marble sinks require special plumbing?
No. Marble sinks use standard 32 mm or 40 mm waste fittings. Wall-mounted faucets are recommended for vessel sinks, while deck-mounted faucets suit countertop basins.
